Completions Field Engineer/Specialist – Sand Control
The Completions Field Specialist – Sand Control is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers. The Completions Field Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Responsible for service delivery execution of sand control technology such as Open-Hole Gravel Pack, Cased-Hole Gravel Pack, and Stand-Alone Screens involving ASST Service Tools, Sandface Packers, Anti-Swab Extensions, Torque-Through Quick Connect, Formation Isolation Valves, Gravel Pack/Fracpac Screens, Y-Manifold, PBRs and Wash-Down Shoes
- Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
- Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
- Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
- Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain the required safety training.
Exposures & Experiences
- Diploma or Degree in a Technical, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-15yrs experience in Sand Control operations including field installations of Sandface Packers, Anti-Swab Extensions, Torque-Through Quick Connect, Formation Isolation Valves, Gravel Pack/Fracpac Screens, Y-Manifold, PBRs and Wash-Down Shoes Experience in providing innovative and adaptive technical solutions and support to customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a strong safety mindset
- Strong communication skills and team player mentality.
- Adaptability in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
- Offshore field environment
