Mamastops Logistics Solutions LDA is a rapidly expanding, technology-driven logistics provider committed to transforming supply chain operations across Mozambique. As we scale our network and integrate advanced operational tech, we are looking for a meticulous, high-energy Accountant to join our team in Beira and anchor our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Local Tax & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Mozambican statutory laws, managing timely filings for VAT, INSS, IRPS, and corporate taxes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the Management team.
Cost & Fleet Oversight: Monitor logistics-specific expenses, vendor payments, and operational costs to support efficiency across our fleet network.
Audit Readiness: Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records and interface with external auditors or regulatory bodies when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. OCAM registration is a strong advantage.
Experience: 3–5 years of core accounting experience, preferably within logistics, transport, or fleet management industries.
Software Proficiency: Excellent hands-on experience with standard accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and verbal) is strictly required.
