The Senior Contract Administrator / Senior Cost Controller is responsible for managing contracts, cost control, budgeting, and commercial compliance to ensure effective financial and contractual performance of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage project contracts in accordance with contractual terms, conditions, and company procedures
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and cost performance against approved baselines
- Prepare, review, and analyze cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses
- Manage change orders, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence
- Support preparation and evaluation of tenders, bids, and commercial proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams on cost and contract matters
- Review subcontractor and vendor invoices, progress payments, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and audit standards
- Identify cost risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, cost records, and project commercial files
- Support project close‑out activities including final accounts and contract completion reports
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, PMP, AACE, CIMA) are an advantage
Experience:
- 10-15+ years of experience in contract administration and/or cost control within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
- Strong experience in project cost management, contracts, claims, and commercial reporting
- Experience working in an office‑based project controls or commercial environment preferred
