We’re Hiring: Senior Accountant – Transport & Logistics

Robust International is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Beira. This role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in financial accounting, cost control, and compliance — ideally within the transport or logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Mozambican tax laws Track and manage transport-related costs (fuel, maintenance, labor) Ensure timely submission of tax returns and regulatory reports (VAT, IRPC, IRPS) Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow forecasting Support annual budget preparation and financial planning
Work with ERP/accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) Collaborate with logistics, operations, procurement, and warehouse teams Assist with audits and support Group Finance initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles Strong knowledge of IFRS and Mozambican tax legislation Proven experience in transport/logistics finance is a strong advantage Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
